Being Perfect
I know nobody is perfect
and this I wont deny
and nobody includes me and you
at the least we all can try
Perfections like a paradox
a puzzle that cant be solved
a riddle that’s impossible
a ghost that roams around
so why do we try to be
this word we call perfection
when we’re not happy with how we act, think and feel
and when we look at our reflection
and this I wont deny

An answer...
I search for an answer to the word of life
And I come up with no answers to the lies
They say one is happy doing what he likes
But, is it possible to be wrapped up in the strife
Everyday planning, everyday people
Everyday problems that don’t seem to matter
When do we call it enough or throw in the towel
Or do we go through life like it’s a battle
Fighting with each other over senseless things
Or call a truce and go our separate ways?
Do I take the canvas and paint my picture of
What life really means to me? Or, do
I drop the paintbrush and splatter the paint
For is there really truth in life that can
Ease all this pain….of deceit and heartache
I’m sure I will survive this word of life
That when looked at through the eyes of love
There is no lies…..

Father
A dad is someone thoughtful and understanding
dear and kind
who lets you ask a lot of him
and never seems to mind
he's someone who will listen
to all things you talk about
regardless whether it makes sense
and gives you a sound advice
and a well earned praise
and always helps you
he is also someone to admire
and to love the whole year through
at least that
is what a dad is

Unrequited
By watching her,
She could see the love in her eyes,
The love for a person,
Who doesn't love in return.
By watching her,
She could see the sparkle in her eyes,
A sparkle of fascination,
To him only condemnation.
By watching her,
She could see the need in her eyes,
The need to be loved,
A need never granted.
By watching her,
She could see the pain in her eyes,
The pain of having loved,
And not loved in return
Angel's flower.
She could see the love in her eyes,
