one gentle prick may cause it to bleed
if its subjected to hurt again and again
could it possibly endure the intolerable pain?
is there no antidote,no potent cure?
can a heart that is tainted ever be made pure?
can past grievances be forgotten and completely erased?
can the scars of the past dissapear without a trace?
if a heart has been wounded,is there any relief?
is there any escape from fear,sorrow and grief?
if one has been subjected to such ruthless betrayal
can they still trust that true love wil prevail?
a heart that lies bruised and broken
from painful words that have been carelessly spoken
shattered into innumberable pieces
